How the ISO Certification Cycle Works


 

Each three-year ISO Certification Cycle operates in three divisions: Stage 1 and 2 Audits in Year One (or Recertification Audits where ISO Certification is ongoing), and Surveillance Audits in Years Two and Three. This model is used to ensure that organisations not only initially meet the requirements of ISO Certification, but continue to demonstrate conformity year in, year out. Where your organisation maintains its ISO Certification for the full three-year Cycle, Recertification is offered, saving time and money. Below is a basic overview of The Cycle:
